Obituary

Mrs. Minnie Bell "Nuke" Ingram McCorkle of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Friday, May 30 2008 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Mrs. McCorkle was born August 11, 1928 to Erskie and Cora Ingram in Mt. Gilead, NC. She was employed by Export Leaf and the WS/FCS System. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Preceding Mrs. McCorkle in death were her parents; her husband, Eugene McCorkle; four brothers, and two sisters.

Surviving are two sons, David (Detrice) Ingram of Winston-Salem, NC and Eugene (Linda) McCorkle of Rialto, CA; two daughters, Betty Jean Guest and Linda M. Rogers both of Winston-Salem, NC; three sisters, Lola McAlister, Anna (Clarence) Gilliam and Carolyn (Ben) Gray; four brothers, Erskine (Nancy) Ingram, Bobby (Gloria) Ingram, Caesar (Margaret) Ingram and Calvin Ingram all of Winston-Salem, NC; a devoted granddaughter, Sonya McCorkle; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; six great-great- grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Friday, June 6, 2008 from the Carver Road Church of Christ with Brother Jefferson R. Caruthers, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from Noon until 1pm on Friday at the Church.
