Milton Linwood Williams, Sr., 66, passed away June 13, 2017 at his home. He was born in Forsyth County to Mr. Milz Williams and Mrs. Rosavee Williams. Mr. Williams attended Forsyth County Public Schools and graduated from Atkins High School in 1967. He was employed at Hanes Brand, Inc., where he retired as a Forklift Operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kevin Williams; and his brother-in-law, Pinkston Clarke.
He leaves fond memories to his wife Mae Collins Williams as they cherish 49 years of Holy Matrimony; his four children, Milton (Angela) Williams of Kernersville, NC, Melanie (Robert) Cunningham of Winston-Salem, NC, Teresa (Raymond) Gadsden of Douglasville, GA, and Donavon Williams of the home; nine grandchildren, BreAnna Williams, Timothy Marshall, Jr., Amanie Cunningham, Tre'von Williams, Ragan Gadsden, Benjamin Williams, Joshua Gadsden, Jaquana Cunningham, and Robert Cunningham, III; four great-grandchildren, Alissa Jackson, Aiden Williams, Allyson Williams, and Chloe Jackson; sister, Carrie Williams Clarke of Orlando, FL.; brother, Ronnie (Kaye) Williams of the city; and a host of relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, June 19, 2017 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Monday at the Chapel.
