Obituary
Mrs. Mildred S. Reid passed away peacefully at Forsyth Medical Center on Saturday, September 8, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Samuel Reid; her parents, George and Bessie Scales; several brothers and sisters; a special niece and caregiver, Doris Monk; and her nephew, Harry Smith, Jr.
She is survived by her sisters, Annie M. Smith of Winston-Salem, NC and Edna Johnson (Johnny) of San Diego, CA; two nieces, Veronica Crumblin (Charles) of Winston-Salem, NC and Sandra Royster of Greensboro, NC; three nephews, William, Johnny, III., and Anthony Johnson all of San Diego, CA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon Thursday, September 13, 2007 from the St. Paul United Methodist Church Reverend Donald Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until noon on Thursday at the Church.
