Mildred Barton Pendleton, 96, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Mildred was born to Mrs. Dorothy Barton Elrod on December 28, 1918. Mrs. Mildred Pendleton was the lovely wife of Curtis Lamont Pendleton and was the mother of Doris Davis and Brenda Patterson.

Mildred enjoyed being with family and friends and enjoyed making others laugh together and at each other.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving daughters, Doris Davis and Brenda Patterson; grandchildren, Lynette Patterson, Marshall Patterson IV, and Ryan Davis all of Winston-Salem, NC; great-grandchildren, Javon Davis of Kentucky, TN and Destiny Jones of Charlotte, NC; great-great-grandson, KaMauri Patterson-Jones of Charlotte, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services honoring her life will be held at 12noon Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend William J. Purvis, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family will receive family and friends from 11:30am until 12noon on Monday at the Chapel.
