Obituary
Mrs.Mildred Page Ford went home to be with her Savior on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home after an extended illness. She was born October 28, 1924 in Mullins, SC to the late Mary Lee and Dolan Page.
She moved to Winston-Salem after finishing school in Mullins, SC and was self-employed. She was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Norwood Ford; and son, Edward Gilchrist.
Surviving are her daughter, Violet (William) Highsmith; sister, Linda Austin of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Ricky (Katrina) Marsh, Manuel Marsh, Eddie Gilchrist, Derrick Highsmith, Bryan Highsmith, Treva Marsh and Christa Marsh; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Monday, November 24, 2014 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 11:30am until 12noon on Monday at the Church.
