Michael Anthony Jones, 67, of Winston-Salem transitioned on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.

Michael was born February 23, 1953 to Marcellus Jones and Bertha Cuthrell Jones.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marcellus Jones; a daughter, Saundra Smith; and a great grandchild, Devin Smith, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Bertha Jones; his beloved wife of 46 years, Juanita Hall Jones; a son, Dwayne (Missy) Hall; four grandsons, Devon, Devin, Derrick and Erick; one granddaughter, Daphaney Smith; three great grandchildren, KaDeann Leak, Jahcere Smith and Jahniya Bryan; one brother, Timothy (Betty) Jones; four sisters, Deborah Jones of Lexington, Doncella Jones of Midway, Hythia (Andrew) Brown of High Point, and Felicia Morgan of Midway; three sisters-in-law, Joean Gary, Joyclyn Hall, and Sharon Cadwell of Winston-Salem; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Private funeral services will be held Monday, April 6, 2020. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
