Mr. Michael L. House was born January 15, 1956 in Winston-Salem, NC to Barbara House Campbell and Clarence Jeter.  Michael attended the Winston-Salem / Forsyth County schools. Michael also served in the United States Army. At the time of his death, Michael was employed at Sbarro's for 18 years.

Michael was the true example of a husband, father, brother, and uncle. He loved and cared for everyone. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara House Campbell; and his father, Clarence Jeter. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife and best friend Rita House of the home; three children, Alaranita (Vincent) Thompson of Charlotte, NC, Levunya Marlin, and Ja-Hen Marlin of Winston-Salem, NC; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; his sister, Priscilla (Tim) Quattlebaum; brothers, Ernest (Clara) House, Aaron (Octavia) House, and Anthony House all of Winston-Salem, NC; nephews, Quincy (Damica) House, Tevin House, and Quintin House all of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of other loving nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Eyvette Abbott officiating. NO VISITATION.
