In loving memory of Michael A. "Inzar" Conyers who will be missed and loved dearly. He departed on March 13, 2017 from his loving wife, family, and close friends. Michael was born April 24, 1962 and resided in Winston-Salem, NC. He attended the local Forsyth County schools and worked as a boiler engineer for Winston-Salem State University.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Veola Hunter; father, Robert Conyers; and his sisters, Belinda Hunter, Cynthia Elam, and Diane Gardner.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Karen G. Conyers; son, Michael Mickens; stepson, Chris Lee; stepdaughter, Delores Green; grandchildren, Tyree, Tydara, Erykah, DaThomas, Michael, and Kamora; great-grandchildren, Tylasia Long and Harmony Blango; sisters, Yvette Conyers, Jackie Abraham, and Wendy Inzar; brothers, Ronnie Hunter (Belinda), Iven King, Morris Hunter, Khalil Abdul-Qawi (Barbara), Marshall Lawrence (Sadie), and Derrick Lawrence; his extended family including his step-parents, Robert & Marion Inzar; brothers, Robert, Jr. (Felicia), Dennis, and Martin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close beloved friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.
