Obituary
Memphis Tyrone Crockett, 59, passed away November 10, 2015. He was born in W-S, NC on June 20, 1956 to Memphis Stephens and Virginia Mae Crockett.
Memphis served in the US Navy, was a five star chef, and was strong in his faith as a Christian. He was a devoted father, grandfather, son, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Surviving are his fiancé, Tomeka Chaplin of the home; 9 children; 18 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Thursday at the Chapel.
