Mr. Melvin Louis Van Eaton, Sr., 58 of 1355 Ellerway Apt. 103 passed away Tuesday morning, August 17, 2010. He was married to Ivory Van Eaton and was the son of the late Henry and Lucy Van Eaton.
He leaves to cherish in his memory his loving and devoted wife of 32 years, Ivory Van Eaton of the home; two daughters, Meka Baldwin and Ivory (Tony) Cathy; two sons, Melvin Baldwin and Melvin Van Eaton, III. all of Winston-Salem, NC; twelve grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2pm Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at 6pm Friday, August 20, 2010 at the home, 1355 Ellerway Apt. 103 Winston-Salem, NC 27127 (old Happy Hill Gardens).
