Ms. Maxine Viola Jenkins Glover, of 4125 Rosa Street, took her flight home on Thursday, October 1, 2009. Maxine was born on November 23, 1956 to Mr. Charlie Jenkins, Jr. and Mrs. Susanna Jenkins. She was a graduate of East Forsyth High, Class of 1975. She attended college at Virginia Seminary and College in Lynchburg, VA, where she majored in Business administration. She was preceded in death by her mother. Maxine will truly be missed. She leaves to cherish her memories:her father; four children, Michelo Glover, LaTempis (Patrick) Mitchell, James Glover, Jr., and Donnetta Glover; five grandchildren, Malachi, Tamya, Ny' Asia, Kharisma, and Ma' Kiyah-Imari; four siblings, Charles (Iantha) Jenkins, Anthony Jenkins, Joan (Gordon) Gray, and Felicia Jenkins; her grandmother, Viola Williamson; spiritual sisters, Heddie McFarland, Evangelist Cynthia Schley, Michelle McCormick, Gloria Moreia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and special loved ones. Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, October 6, 2009 from Ambassadors Cathedral with Bishop F.D. Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 12 noon on Tuesday at the Church.
