Ms. Maver Jean Golden Jones, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Jacob William Golden, was born December 1, 1939 in Rural Hall, NC.

She never recovered from a severe illness and passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, March 4, 2021.

She leaves behind three children, Dennis (Fatima Sayyid) Jones, Darlene (Ronald) Dumas, and Darius (Franca) Jones; four grandchildren, Jasmine (Shawn) Aikens, Wehilani Nakamura-Jones, Puanani Nakamura-Jones, and Elizabeth Jones; four great grandchildren, Samya, Shawn, II, Miyuki, and Inari; one brother, Benny (Pam) Golden; one honorary sister, Mercile (Rob) Johnson; sisters-in-law, Peggy Golden and Gloria (Cliff) Jones; special friend, Terry Reich; and a host of other family and friends.

The family would like to give thanks to WellCare Hospice for their assistance in her transition.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00am Monday, March 8, 2021 at Crestview Memorial Park, Rural Hall, NC.
