Mr. Maurice Anthony Clarke-Ray, 23 was born in Queens, New York. He departed this life on December 17, 2008 in Winston-Salem, NC.
He was baptized at an early age in Winston-Salem, NC. He attended Barnwell County public schools, Lorrance Middle School, Glenn High School and he graduated in June 2003 from Barnwell high School. He also attended DeVry University, Atlanta, GA and South University majoring in Computer Technology.
He leaves to cherish his memories and mourn his passing his mother, Maureen Ray-Barker of Columbia, SC; his father, Michael Ray (Camaro) of Winston-Salem, NC; two brothers, Marcus Ray of Charlotte, NC and Michael Ray, Jr. of Columbia, SC; grandparents, John Ray (Dorothy) of Winston-Salem, NC, Clovis Nurse of Augustus, GA, Joise Barker of Barnwell, SC, and Penny Rice of Winston-Salem, NC; uncles, Franklin (Janet) Oxford of New Jersey, Ursula Clarke of Barnwell, SC; Ronald Clarke of Tampa, FL, Reynold (Wendy) Oxford of Queens, NY, Stephen Yearwood of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Johnnie (Gladys) Ray of Winston-Salem, NC and Darryl (Janice) Ray of Augusta, GA; aunts, Lenora (Johnathan) Joseph of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Patricia (Charles) Sease of Augusta, GA, and Shelia (James) White of El Paso, TX; his step-father, Danny Parler of Denmark, SC; step-sisters & brothers, Danielle Johnson, LeKeya Sanders, Foley Parler, Danny Parler, Jr. all of Denmark, SC, LaKeisha Tyler of Hawaii, and Terry Rice and Michael Young of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, January 3, 2009 from the Greater Faith Ministries with Apostle Belton Williams officiating.
