Maude Johnson passed away comfortably in her home on August 14, 2007. She had fought a heroic battle with pancreatic cancer.
She is survived by her four children, Robert (Blob) Johnson, Antonia (Toni) Means, Emma Moore and Rodney Johnson. She was loved by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, but none captured her heart and made her eyes light up like her boys; Brandon, Kevin and Khyre.
Graveside services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson will be available for public viewing on Friday afternoon, August 17, 2007 at Russell Funeral Home. The procession will assemble and leave from the home of Mrs. Johnson, 3824 Sterling Park Court, Winston-Salem, NC at 11:15 in route to Evergreen Cemetery.
The family would like to thank everyone involved in the care that Mrs. Johnson received over the last 2 years of her life.
