Mason Michael Christopher Williams , 24 years old, of Winston-Salem, NC transitioned unexpectedly on May 11, 2023.

Mason is survived by his parents, devoted mother, Mechelle Quincy, Michael Williams and Jamar Quincy; siblings, Mickaela Williams, Malachi Williams, Prentice Williams, Jordan Williams, Joshua Chandler-Semedo, Jamar Quincy Jr., Keith Quincy, and Jaylin Quincy; grandparents, Christopher and Dawn Henderson (OH), Mark and Cheryl Streeter (VA), and Mary Williams (NC); girlfriend, Chantise Wilson; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Oliver Williams; and brother, Macieo Williams.

Mason especially loved his family and enjoyed family times together of games, laughter and fun. He had the most jovial personality and was often the life of family events. He always kept everyone laughing. He was very passionate about football and was an active member of the semi-pro football world. He was a member of several different teams but most recently landed on the Kings Mountain Force which he loved and thrived in being a part of.

Mason had a heart of gold and was very loving and kind. His million dollar smile and his confidant personality will be remembered by all who had the pleasure to be in his presence. It was impossible to be sad and be in his presence at the same time. His presence would light up any atmosphere.

Mason accepted Christ at a young age and had a heart for God. From his youth he remained very active in ministry at multiple ministries including Soteria Life Center, Smithfield Virginia.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Russell Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 12:00noon Friday, May 19, 2023 at Old Town Baptist Church. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00noon on Friday at the Church.
