Mrs. Mary Gladys Barden Wilson was born November 4, 1921 to proud parents Mary Alice Williamson and Oscar Barden. She went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 18, 2011.

She was preceded in death by two daughters; a grandson; a great-granddaughter; a great-great-granddaughter; three brothers; one sister; and a brother-in-law.

Mrs. Mary Gladys Barden Wilson is celebrated and cherished by her daughters, Eleanor Wilson Ford, Janet Delores, and Sharon Michelle Wilson; one son, Norman Leander Wilson; a sister, Leah Barden; devoted son-in-law, Arthur Lee Ford, Sr.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many extended relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday, November 26, 2011 at St. Mark Baptist Church with Reverend James Fulwood officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1pm until 2pm on Saturday at the Church.
