Mrs. Mary Frances Powell Williams Robinson of Springwood Care Center and formerly of 2927 Gilmer Avenue was born November 9, 1924 to Renegar and Nettie C. Powell. She passed away November 25, 2010.
She was Baptist by faith and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was also a member of Bivouac Chapter #530 OES PHA.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Robinson; and her son, Jerry L. Williams, Sr. "Bro".
She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne W. Jackson of South Riding, VA; a most devoted daughter-in-law, Lazette J. Williams of Charleston, SC; four grandsons, Brian Jackson (Connie) of South Riding, VA, Adrian Williams (Tiffany) of Charleston, SC, Jerry L. Williams, Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC, and Joacqueem Jackson (Simone) of Patterson, NJ; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 12noon Friday, December 3, 2010 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Friday at the Church.
