Ms. Mary Agnes Lee, 48, of 1434 Garfield Avenue, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center.

She was born in Guildford County on January 12, 1959 to Chineta H. Sheff and Spencer H. Lee, Sr.

Mary was educated in the Forsyth County School System. She was employed at Forsyth Medical Center in the Nutrition Center and a part-time employee of Wal-Mart Superstore at Hanes Mall Blvd. She was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Spencer H. Lee, Sr.; and both sets of her grandparents.

Mary leaves to cherish her loving memories two children; Tony Trumane Lee and Laquanda Monique Lee both of the city; two grandchildren; her mother, Chineta H. Sheff (Zeb G. Sheff, Sr.) of the city; four sisters, Carolyn L. Hooper, Marilyn P. Lee, Lisa Hill (Al) all of the city, and Ivey Palmer of Reidsville, NC; two brothers, Spencer H. Lee, Jr. and Kenneth M. Lee both of the city; two devoted God-sisters, Terry M. Gray of the city and Venetta E. Hunt of Greensboro, NC; aunts, Etta Eldridge, Annie Clark, Nina Hooper (Roosevelt) all of Greensboro, NC, Inez Hairston (Willie), Irene Bigelow (Lacy), Helen Stokes, and Mary Ester Graves all of Reidsville, NC, and Dora B. Zimmerman of Waterbury, CT; uncles, Joe Arthur Hooper and William Galloway both of Greensboro, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 12 NOON from Union Baptist Church with the Reverend. Dr. Sir Walter Mack, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 12 NOON on Saturday at the Church. The procession will assemble and leave from the home of her sister at 3390 Jeketer Drive in route to the Church.
