Mary Annette Hill affectionately known as "Doll Baby" was born on June 20, 1934, in Upper Marlboro, Maryland to the late Eugene Mathew Robinson Sr. and Mary Agnes Robinson.

Mary received her formal education in Prince Georges County, Maryland.  Afterwards, she was employed and then retired from UniFirst Uniform Service after 18 years of dedicated service.

She was united in holy matrimony to the late John Calvin Hill and together, from this union, they were blessed with five children:  John Jackson (deceased), Robert Eugene, Gregory Lee, Linda Gale, and Brenda Kaye.

Mary was an extremely wise woman with a great sense of humor.  She was often referred to as the historian of the family.  Many enjoyed her storytelling dating back to her childhood.   So much of the family history will be preserved because of Mary's remembrance of detail.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, John; siblings, Eugene, Jr., Mildred Contee, Agnes Robinson, Mazzie Robinson, William Robinson, Sr.; and brother-in-law, James "Butch" Contee.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children, sons, Robert E. Robinson and Gregory L. Hill, daughters, Linda G. White and Brenda K. Hill; grandchildren, Jasmine Pinckney, Fanniecia Hill, Darnell White, Johnathon White, Tashania Hill, Gabrielle Hill, and Kiley Hill; two brothers, Michael Robinson, Sr. (Florence) and Joseph Robinson, Sr.; two sisters-in-law, Brenda Robinson and Florence Robinson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:30am Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Church of the Incarnation, 880 Eastern Ave. NE Washington, DC 20019.  Interment will follow in Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.  The family visitation will be held from 9:30am until 11:30am on Wednesday at the Church.
