Ms. Mary Jane Fulp was born on January 16, 1954 to Preston and Janie Fulp, Sr. She was called home on January 18, 2023.  She was a member of Pine Hall Baptist Church, where she served as secretary for many years.

She was a graduate of East Forsyth High School. She earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Guildford Community College.  She later went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Guildford College.  She worked at Burlington Industries, Precision Fabrics, Rite Industries, and Measurement Inc.

Mary was proceeded in death by her parents, Preston and Janie Fulp Sr.; three brothers, Bill Fulp, Donald Fulp, and Garry Fulp; and her grandmother, Maybelle Mitchell.

Mary was sweet, loving, and kind.  She was often referred to as "Sweet Mary Jane".  She was a hard worker and conquered every job to the best of her ability.  Mary loved to read and had a library of books.  Her book collection will be donated so others can share in her love of reading and learning.

She leaves to cherish loving memories her brothers, Rev. Preston (Wanda) Fulp of Winston-Salem, NC and Jerry  Fulp of Walnut Cove, NC; two sisters, Nancy Fulp of Walnut Cove, NC and Francene (Donnie) Hatcher of Rural Hall, NC; two aunts, Ella Mae Fulp of Walkertown, NC and Alice Manns of Walnut Cove, NC; one uncle, Johnny Manns of Walnut Cove, NC; sister-in-law, Betty Fulp of Kernersville, NC; God-daughter, ZaKia Fulp; very special friends, Frank and Cathy Macy of Welcome, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends. Mary will be greatly missed.  She has forever left an impression on our hearts.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Preston Fulp, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Sinai/Fulp Family Cemetery, Belews Creek, NC. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Thursday at the Chapel.
