Mary Elmore departed this life unexpectedly May 10, 2010 at her home. She was born in Estill, SC and was the daughter of Mary Williams and John Riley. She was a faithful and devoted member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church for over 40 years where she was a deaconess and a member of the Senior Choir.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Hamp and Sherry Elmore.
She leaves to cherish loving memories her brother, Clinton (Arnella) Brown of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, May 14, 2010 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 575 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive Winston-Salem, NC with Reverend Nathan Scovens officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2pm on Friday at the Church.
