Martha Lucille Sprinkle Lewis passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2012. Martha was born on January 29, 1945 to the late Richard and Betty Sprinkle of Rural Hall.

Martha is a retiree of Winn Dixie, Food Lion and Cardinal Health with a combined total of 39 years of service. For 10 ½ years, she has proceeded to work part-time in the deli at Wal-Mart on Hanes Mill Road.
She was a devoted member of Antioch Christian Church where she was very active and participated in several activities within the church.

She was preceded in death by her brother, William Franklin Hairston.

She is survived by her son, Derek Lewis of the home; one grandson, Trenton Ali Lewis of Atlanta, GA; her ex-husband and close friend, June Lewis; a sister-in-law, Willie Mae Hairston; a devoted aunt, Ila (Arthur) Eldridge; a niece, Monica Hairston; three nephews, Roy Hairston, Anthony Hairston, and Frank (Cynthia) Taylor all of W-S, NC; and a host of close family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12noon Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Antioch Christian Church, 1432 Underwood Ave. W-S, NC with Reverend James A. Gilliam officiating. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
