Marlene Mitchell, 58,of 3505 Carver School Rd, answered her Heavenly Father's call, and finished her labor here on January 24, 2014 at her home after a brief illness.

Born August 26, 1955 in Durham NC, she leaves wonderful memories to her mother and father, Roy & Mae Brooks; one daughter, Crystal Mitchell Brown of Durham NC;

one son ,Jamal Mitchell of the home; two sisters & three brothers; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 12noon Friday January 31, 2014 at Genesis Victory Outreach Center with Bishop Claude Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Friday at the Church.
