Marie Christine Ingram was born in Newark, NJ on August 19, 1926 to the late George Sr. and Anna Willis Hill. She departed this life April 17, 2018.

Marie was educated in the Newark public school system receiving her high school diploma from Essex Community College.  Marie worked most of her life as a machine operator for various manufacturing companies in New Jersey.

She relocated to Winston-Salem, NC in 1979 employed as a Nutrition Site Manager with ESR at community housing centers.

Marie found Christ at an early age and reaffirmed her faith by joining and faithfully serving at Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, NC before her health declined.  She expressed and received love from the faithful members in the Whitener Bible Fellowship Class.

She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Earl Ingram Jr.; a brother, George Willis Jr.; and a sister, Ruth Willis Bynum.  She leaves to mourn her loss, six brothers and sisters, Ovella Willis, Sadie Willis, Sharald Greene, Beverly Anderson, Tyrone Anderson, and Chris Anderson; four children, Thomas Earl (Doris) Ingram III, Patricia Ingram Graham, Tracy Scott Ingram, and Robin Cherelle Ingram; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Friday, April 20, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 10:00am until 10:30am on Friday at the Church.
