Maria Ann McCorkle Wiggins, 64, was born July 22, 1956 in Winston-Salem, NC to Neal and Marie McCorkle. She departed this life on October 11, 2020 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

She was employed at Best Buy. Maria was also an active member of First Waughtown Baptist Church and was a Missionary, Deaconess and a part of feed my sheep.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Ronnie Wiggins; her father, Neal McCorkle; mother, Marie McCorkle; and sister, Eugenia Macon.

Left to cherish precious memories are her  brothers, Virgus (Linda) McCorkle, Bobby Fielder of Philadelphia, PA and Jimmie Fielder of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Jayron Hartwell and Zaria Strickland; stepchildren, Sharnette Amanda Evans and Aaron Lybrand; nephews, Vic Macon, Kevin Macon, Victor Torrence,Jr., Vernon Brown, and Rajeem (Cahreen) Moore; nieces, Carol (Don) Corley, Angela (Robert) Moore, Kimber McCorkle, and Arielle (Kyseam) Williams; devoted friends, Priscilla Razzak, Cheryl Hairston, Linda Johnson, and Carolyn Ijames; and a host of other relatives and friends and her entire Best Buy Family.

Private services will be held Thursday, October 15, 2020.  Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
