Obituary
Mrs. Margie Flavella Shoffner Brown, 71, of 380 Nash Ave., Winston-Salem, NC passed away Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Winston-Salem, NC on February 18, 1936 to Ernest Roberts and Betty Mae Shoffner.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert Brown.
Mrs. Brown is survived by a daughter, Tamara E. Harris of Winston-Salem, NC; five grandchildren, Shannon George, Shane Hairston, and Danny Hairston of Stuart, Va., Jasmine Smith and Marcia Mims of Winston-Salem, NC; five great-grandchildren; a very close cousin, Patricia Lipscomb; two aunts, Audrianna "Neat" Dansby and Mae Alice Archie; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. Family visitation will be held atom 12 noon until 1 pm Saturday at he funeral home.
