Mr. Marcus Stephen Miller departed this earth unexpectedly on Thursday, October 22, 2009. He was born August 5, 1983 in Winston-Salem, NC to William D. and Gwendolyn White Miller. He was a 2001 graduate of Glenn High School
The memories we will cherish of Marcs will be happy and some sad, but for those who really knew him well, will have many funny moments.
He leaves to cherish his memories his parents; a son, King D. Green and his mother, Dominique Green both of Detroit, MI; two brothers, William, Jr. (friend, Christina Harris) and Keshane Hauser; three sisters, Teiah and Cassey Miller of Winston-Salem, NC and Sandra Davis of New Orleans, LA; grandmother, Athalee Miller of Winston-Salem, NC; grandfather, William R. Miller of York, SC; four uncles, Eugene (Sandra) Thomas and Steve White both of Albany, GA Curtis and Greg Miller of Winston-Salem, NC; four aunts, Joyce (Zeno) Hunter and Ruby Blackburn of Winston-Salem, NC, Grace White of Savannah, GA and Charity Meacham of Newark, NJ; three great-aunts, Isabella (Perry) Gilbert of Alban, GA, Ruby (Joe) McComb and Annie Mae Bailey of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, October 30, 2009 from the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Samuel J. Cornelius officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 1pm until 2pm on Friday at the Church.
