Mrs. Mamie White, 97 died February 18, 2011 at her home in Winston Salem, NC. Born August 11, 1913 in Winston Salem, NC, she was the daughter of the late Will and Creola Barber.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother, she leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Imogene Joyner; four grandchildren, Ray Joyner, Judy Joyner Harper, Edward Joyner, and Stephen Joyner; ten great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 12noon Thursday, February 24, 2011 at United Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11am until 12noon on Thursday at the Church.
