Mrs. Mae Thomas Davis Green, 81, was born February 7, 1935 in W-S, NC to Margaret Wilson and Thomas Davis. She departed this earthly life on March 5, 2016.

Mae was a graduate of Atkins High School, attended Winston-Salem State University, and retired from E.S.R. after 35 years of service. She was a faithful member of Kimberly Park Holiness Church where she served in many different capacities and received the distinguished honor of Mother of the Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Reginald Orlando Davis.

She is survived by her two children, Margaret Davis (Vierl, Sr.) Banks and Bernard (Verline) Davis; granddaughters, Sunshine and Pilar; great-grandchildren, Star and Camille; brother, Nathaniel (Shirley) Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Kimberly Park Holiness Church with Elder Robert Edmonds officiating and Bishop T.R. Rice eulogist. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Church.
