Mae Alice Cox Braddy was born July 24, 1935 to Hector Cox, Sr. and Jeanette Lide Cox in Marlboro County, SC.  She departed this earthly life on May 14, 2020.  Born and raised in the Christian faith, she retired from First Presbyterian church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Braddy, Sr.; and two daughters, Hazel Braddy and Miranda Fleming.

She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Charlie (Dorene) Braddy, Jr.; four daughters, Eunice, Carolyn, and Annie Braddy of the city and Mary Braddy of Virginia; eleven grandchildren including one devoted grandson, Demetrius Braddy of the home; twenty-six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Jessie (Walter) Gadson of Latta, SC, Ann Randolph of Jersey City, NJ, Katie Abraham and Barbara (Fred) Roberts of the city; two sisters-in-law, Mae Frances Braddy and Pauline Green of Latta, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Monday, May 18, 2020.
