Mr. Mack Baines was born April 4, 1942 in Dillon, SC. He passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at the Kate. B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

He was the son of Lester and Iola Baines. He retired from Thomasville Furniture Company.

Mr. Baines was preceded in death by both of his parents; three brothers; mother and father-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and two brothers-in-law.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 43 years, Doretha McCallum Baines; six children, Cynthia Baines of the home, Sandra (Bobby) Cannon, Cathy (Spanious) Jessup, Tangela (Myron) Stephens, Michael Baines and Corey Baines all of Winston-Salem, NC; ten grandchildren all of Winston-Salem; one sister, Sarah Jean Baines of Winston-Salem, NC; one sister-in-law; Gladys Reaves; and close friend Isaac McKinnon of Hyattsville, MD; two brothers-in-law, Earl (Sarah) McCallum and John (Adele) McCallum both of Fairmont, NC; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Sunday, June 11, 2007 from the Macedonia Worship Center with Apostle S.D. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 12 noon until 1 pm on Monday at the Church.
