Luzelle Harris Barber, 70, of Advance NC, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018.

Luzelle was born in Abbeville, SC on April 26, 1948, to the late Woodrow Wilson Harris, Sr. and Eva Woods Harris. She retired from Novant Health, Inc. after 31 dedicated years.  Luzelle was a member of Sisters of James H. Young Memorial Chapter 592 Order of the Eastern Star PHA.

Along with her parents, Luzelle was preceded in death by one brother, Apostle James A. Harris Sr.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Boyd Hauser (Larry) of Walkertown, NC; one grandchild, Noah; three sisters, Mary Roberts, JoAnn Hargro, and Ruby Hawkins all of Winston-Salem, NC.; five brothers, Timothy Harris, Woodrow Harris, and Fenell "Billy" Harris all of Winston-Salem, NC, David Harris (Margaret) of Indian Trail, NC, and Charles Harris of California; sister-in-law, Vermel Harris of Winston-Salem, NC; Godparents, Jakay and Minnie Ervin; devoted sister, Rosa (Chris) Adams; devoted brother, Jakay Ervin, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews;  special friends, Patricia Tilley and Sylvia Clardy; other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00am Friday, July 27, 2018 in Crestview Memorial Park, 6850 University Parkway Rural Hall, NC with Elder R.L. Wideman officiating.

At the request of the family there will be no public viewing.
