Lunette Haynesworth Taylor was born October 30, 1948. On Saturday, March 28, 2020 she took her heavenly flight, leaving behind a legacy of character, kindness and love.
Lunette was a graduate of Butler High School in Hartsville, SC and attended Claflin College in Orangeburg, SC. Lunette's skill of being well-organized mixed with her caring spirit served her well in her career as an administrative assistant and office manager.
Lunette dedicated her life to Christ at a young age and was committed to not just only being able to speak the word but also living God's word. Lunette was a faithful member of Providence Baptist where she committed herself tirelessly to many ministries and choirs.
Lunette spent many years developing her skills as a savvy shopper. Dillard's department store was her favorite. Aside from shopping for herself, she loved shopping for others. She also enjoyed reading and sewing in her free time.
Lunette deeply loved her husband Floyd Taylor, they had been married for 51 years. Her greatest gift of being married were her two prides and joy, Bryce (Kenny) Taylor and Courtney Taylor Porter. Kenny and Courtney gifted Lunette and Floyd the precious gifts of grandchildren, Chance Taylor and Maximus Porter. She absolutely adored her grandchildren.
Lunette was preceded in death by her father, Albert Haynesworth; her mother, Edith Mae Haynesworth; and her brother, Albert Haynesworth, Jr.
Lunette is survived by her aunt Judy Furlough; her sisters, Alta Mae (Evans) Gilliard, Elizabeth Haynesworth, and Anita Davis; brothers, Maceo Haynesworth, Allen (Antujaelly) Marche and Timothy (Valerie) Haynesworth. Lunette is also survived by her two children, Bryce Taylor and Courtney (Donielle) Porter; as well as host of additional relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins, church sisters and friends.
