Mrs. Lovetta "Nora" Stewart of 1614 Waughtown St. was born August 17, 1953 in Winston-Salem, NC to Mary McKey and David Hall. She departed this life Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Health.

Mrs. Stewart was a graduate of Atkins High School and was employed at the Oaks at Forsyth.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Stewart; sister, Sarah McKey; brother, Ronnie McKey; and her niece, Tomeka "Medy" McKey.

She is survived by two loving children, Tracie L. McKey and Nicholas D. McKey; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Charles McKey, Jessie Smith, and Pete McKey; sisters, Kay Eaton, Carolyn Barr, Phyllis McKey; Cynthia McKey, Ernestine McKey, Patricia Smith, and Valerie Stewart; step-children, Judy (Sylvester) Williamson, Melinda Stewart, and Eugene Stewart; God-daughters, Chareesta Handy, Wanda Wingate, and Wanda (Terrell) Holmes; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, and many dear friends all of whom she loved very much.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Friday at the Chapel.
