Louise Taylor, 78, of 112 North Cameron Avenue was called home to God on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center.
She was born to the late Flossie Taylor and Matt Taylor of Winston-Salem, NC and attended public schools in Forsyth County. She was a devoted worker for the late Ms. Carrie Davis and she also worked for Mrs. Joslyn Davis Hartwell and Fred Hartwell of Winston-Salem, NC where she retired. She was a longtime faithful member of the Missionary and Usher Board of Shiloh Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis Taylor of Chicago, IL and Carlos Taylor of Winston-Salem, NC.
She leaves to cherish memories her sisters, Connie Taylor, Florita Taylor, Margaret Taylor and Mary Scales of Chicago, IL; two brothers, Lester Taylor and John Taylor of Winston-Salem, NC; a devoted aunt, Mrs. Signora Phillips Pettey; and a host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Paul Lowe officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Tuesday at the Church.
