Mrs. Louise Butler Switzer, 86, formerly of 732 Old Hollow Road passed away on Monday, January 10, 2011 at WFU/ Baptist Medical Center.
She lived in Philadelphia, PA until she relocated to Winston-Salem, NC in the 1980s.
She was an entrepreneur and owned a produce stand on Patterson Ave. for a number of years.
Mrs. Switzer was the most loveable and likeable person that you could meet and was a friend to everyone. She will be greatly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Vernell Switzer; two daughters, Mary M. Anderson and Jacqueline Peurifoy Switzer, all of Winston-Salem, NC ; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.R. Clyburn officiating. Interment will follow in Red Bank Baptist Church Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2:00pm on Tuesday at the Chapel.
