Mrs. Louise Sharp Johnson, 77, was born on June 5, 1938 in Winston-Salem, NC to Wilbert and Inez Rhines Sharp. She departed this life on Sunday, May 8, 2016.

Mrs. Johnson was a devoted wife and a loving and caring mother. Before her sickness, she was a faithful servant to God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Sharp, Harry Sharp, Bobby Sharp, and Wilbert Sharp; and her sister, Jessie Mae Anderson.

She leaves behind her husband, Willie Johnson, Sr.; a devoted son, Willie Johnson, Jr.; five siblings to cherish her memories, J.B. (Patty) Sharp of Columbus, OH, Dorothy Sharp, Samuel Sharp, Jerry (Cynthia) Sharp, and Geraldine Lemons; one sister-in-law, Gloria Sharp; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She had a beautiful spirit that will surely be missed.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Chapel. Interment will occur at a later date in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.
