Louella Blue Harrison was born to the late Arthur Reese Cain  and Ella Eaton Cain on November 12, 1928 in Clarksville Township, Davie County North Carolina. She was the 6th of 10. She transitioned peacefully from this Earth to her eternal heavenly home on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at the age of 92.

Louella Harrison received her education through the Davie county School system and completed secretarial School from the Forsyth county education system.

After her first husband died, she returned home with her two young children and went to work for the Forsyth county School system as an office secretary at Anderson Junior high School where she worked until having to take care of her ailing mother. Upon the demise of her mother she returned to the workforce working for Forsyth county until her 2nd husband became ill, at which time she retired to take care of him until his death. She was a caring and compassionate woman who Loved children. She had a reputation of caring for others light-heartedness encouraging others and making sure everyone was taken care of she was a woman of excellence she loved laughing joking and being surrounded by family the wisdom she shared with those whom she cared for and those we're just some of the characteristics she shared with others the legacy she has left on this Earth is astronomical.

She leaves to cherish her amazing spirit and carry the most precious of her memories her daughter, Sharon Astrop and son, Richard Blue (Lorraine); four grandchildren, Christopher Nieves of Miami, FL, April Astrop of Winston-Salem, NC, Dr. ShaMarick Blue (LaShandra) of Tyler, TX, and Corey Blue of Alexandria, LA; four great grands, Alana, Niya, Aiden, and Khyrie; and one great grand to be born in August 2021 to Dr. and Mrs. Blue; siblings Mrs.Coleen Darden of Winston-Salem, NC, Frank Cain, Mebane, NC, Fleeta Hudson, Bridgeport, CT, and Jewell Cain, Bridgeport, CT; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Monday, February 15, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home.

Private funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2021.  Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
