Mrs. Lottie M. Dixon, age 81, of 601 N. Chestnut Street, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2008 at the Kate B.Reynolds Hospice Home. She is survived by her devoted son, Joe Dixon (Debera) of this city and Benny Dixon of Worchester, MA; two granddaughters, Latisha (Reginald) and Racquel (Monte); three loving great grandchildren, Gwenyth, Alexandria, and Reginald; three brothers, Jake Chisolm of Philadelphia, PA; Johnnie Chisolm of Greensboro, NC; and Phillip Chisolm of the city; three devoted friends, Mollie McLain, Julia Blaylock and Deacon Cora Harper all of the city and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Second New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Shannon Jessup officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be held from 12:30 until 1:00 Tuesday at the Church.
