Obituary
Ms. Loretta Norwood, 52, daughter of Pearl and George Norwood, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 at the KB Reynolds Hospice Home.
Loretta was born July 20, 1962 and lived in Winston-Salem, NC all of her adult life. After being honorably discharged from the US Army, she worked for GMAC Insurance Company for the next 18 years. She also owned and operated Powers N U Consulting. Loretta was a graduate of High Point University in which she obtained her BS and Masters of Business Administration. She was a proud member of Toast Masters of America and Union Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memories are her mother, Pearl Norwood; two brothers, Lance (Andrea) Addison and Lucky Norwood; five sisters, Lisa Norwood, Lori Norwood, Leslie Norwood, Sabrina (Charles) Jacobs, and her devoted sister, LaShika Norwood; a beloved Godson, Warren Jacobs; and a host of devoted friends, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 12noon Monday, December 15, 2014 at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Sir Walter Mack, Jr. officiating.
