Obituary
Mrs. Lizzie Mae Fowler of 311 Forest Hill Ave., Winston-Salem, NC passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2007. She was born August 11, 1946 in Wake Forest, NC to Mr. and Mrs. Mart Fowler.
The family moved to Winston-Salem, NC in 1956. She joined Piney Grove Baptist Church and served faithfully on the Junior Choir as long as she could until her health start failing. She loved Sunday school and prayer meeting, she served at the church 51 years.
She was preceded in death by, Briston Fowler, Mart Fowler, Jr., Luther Edward Fowler, Annie Elizabeth Fowler Coleman, Ella Alma Sturdivant, and James Rufus Sturdivant.
She is survived by, Mary F. Fowler of the home, Julia Patricia Fowler (Wilson) of Winston-Salem, NC, James Fowler (Beatrice) of Raeford, NC, Payton Fowler of Raeford, NC, and Nathaniel Fowler (Linda) of Rural Hall, NC; one aunt, Alice Montague of Raleigh, NC; two nephews, Leroy Daye and George Daye both of Wake Forest, NC; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Pastor James, F. Linville, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until 1 pm at the church.
