Obituary

Linda Dianne Robinson was born in Sumter, South Carolina. Her journey took her to Brooklyn, New York, where she welcomed her first child. She later relocated to Seattle, Washington, where she welcomed her second child and continued raising her family.

After many years in Seattle, Linda retired and eventually made her home in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she spent her later years.

It is with profound sadness and grateful hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Linda Robinson, who peacefully went home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2026.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose life was marked by love, kindness, strength, and compassion. She touched the lives of so many through her beautiful spirit, generous heart, and the love she freely gave to her family and those around her.

Linda will forever be remembered as a God-fearing woman who lived faithfully in her faith. Her strength, generosity, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of those who shared a relationship with her. Her presence brought comfort and encouragement to those around her, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.

She leaves to cherish her memory her spouse, Sherman Robinson; her siblings, AnnieMae Noble and Solomon (Charlene) Davis; her children, Kinnard (Ameeca) Ford and Shamhora Ford; her grandchild, Sarah Ford; and a host of extended family members including the entire Robinson, Davis and Ford families; and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sarah Davis; and siblings, Sarah Carter, Lori Davis, and Herbert Davis.

Though our hearts are heavy with her absence, we find comfort in knowing that Linda’s love, laughter, wisdom, and memories will remain with us forever.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Thursday, September 10, 2026 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Thursday at the Chapel.
