Obituary
WINSTON-SALEM - Ms. Linda Diane Gardner 230 Woodland Avenue passed away Monday, February 9, 2009 at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born March 24, 1949 to Marian Gardner and Clarence Young.
She was a native of Winston-Salem where she attended the public schools and was a Carver High School graduate. Briefly she resided in New York but had resided in Winston-Salem for most of her life. A former employee of PWI Computer Accessories and a member of Galilee Baptist Church.
She was predeceased be her father; one son, Kevin Gardner; and her grandmother, Lucille Gardner.
Surviving are one daughter, Robyn Gardner of Winston-Salem, NC; two sons, Anthony and Terry Gardner of Winston-Salem, NC; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild; her mother, Marian (Robert, Sr.) Inzar of Winston-Salem; two sisters, Wendy Inzar of East Bend, NC and Vivian Young of Roxboro, NC; four brothers, Michael Conyers (Karen) of Winston-Salem, NC, Robert Inzar, Jr., Dennis Inzar, and Martin Inzar of Winston-Salem, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a special niece, Wendi "Snickerdoodle" Withers.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm Monday, February 16, 2009 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Family visitation will be held from 2pm until 2:30 pm Monday at the church.
