Mrs. Linda A. Attucks, a native of Mt. Airy, NC, was born to the late Robert and Daisy Smith. She was called home October 28, 2010 after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and the Spiritual Choir.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eugene Attucks, Jr.; and sisters, Helen France and Mary Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Eugene Attucks, Sr.; daughters, Vanessa, Phyllis, Casaundra, Yvette, Jennifer, and Marie; grandchildren, Jessica, O'Keith, Gabrielle, Gillian, Madolyn, and Mallory; sisters, Dorothy McCollum and Betty France; brothers, Robert Smith, Jr. and Grady Smith; sons-in-law, Joe Smith and Marle March; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was known for her loving and generous heart and she will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Dr. John Mendez officiating. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Wednesday at the Church.
