Mrs. Lillie Frances Reeves Brannon was born September 9, 1927 in Columbia, SC to the late Mattie and John Reeves. She departed this earthly life on September 3, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Health after an extended period of illness.

Lillie was a retiree of Family Services with 34 years of service, and was longtime member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Brannon; and her son, James D. Brannon.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Samuel Robinson (Shirley), Juanita Y. Brannon, Janice D. Thompson (Vernon), and Dwight E. Brannon (Mary); 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Elissiteeve Davis (Preston) of Columbia, SC; special niece, Earline Horsey; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Serenus T. Churn, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
