Lester Sylvester Cole born June 22, 1939 departed this life on April 4, 2011. He
retired from the W-S/FC School System after 30 years of service and was a member of Holy Trinity FGB Church along side of his wife. As a devoted husband, father, & grandfather he earned the utmost respect from his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 26 years, Pauline Waddell Cole; sons, Lester Nowlin, Kenneth "Peanut" Cole, and Ronald Nowlin; daughters, Vanessa Westberry and Diane Wilson; extended sons and daughters, Belvia Venson, Willie, and Sharon Nowlin, Rosyln Payne, Steven Waddell, Christopher, Shelba, and Darrell Jeter, Dolletta Farrow, Christopher, Valeria, & Kenney Kirkpatrick; and a host of grand & great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday April 9, 2011 at Holy Trinity FGB Church, 651 Akron Dr. W-S, NC with Pastor Richard Miller, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Saturday at the Church.
