Mr. Lester Eugene "FATS" Carpenter was born July 16, 1939 and passed away December 15, 2017.  He was the husband of Peggy M. Carpenter; and the father of Evangelist Pamela L. Phillps, Daniel McManus, Todd McManus, Christia McManus, and Robert Carpenter.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Wednesday at the Church.
