Lester Bullock was born February 10, 1943 in Hassell, NC, and transitioned to his eternal home on July 08, 2021. He was the son of the late Charlie and Agnes Bullock.

A genuinely self-made man, Lester was a longtime truck driver and the prominent business owner of B&S Construction. His skilled work in construction was his passion, and the vitality of his spirit and tireless work ethic is reflected in his countless home remodels. A legacy that will remain in perpetuity.

Lester lived his life to the fullest. He was a great listener and could always be counted on for an upbeat attitude, and a good laugh. He enjoyed family functions, vacations, and spending time playing 21 blackjack at casinos.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents; children, Ricky Bullock and Steven Bullock; and his siblings, Henry Bullock, Charlie Bullock, Jr., Ruben Bullock, Johnny Bullock, William Bullock, Louise Williams, Lula Mae Hooker, and Evelyn Bullock.

He is survived by his siblings, Alice Brown of Mt. Vernon, NY, Geraldine Duggins of Winston-Salem, NC, Abraham Bullock of Sumter, SC, and Naomi Bullock Smith of Hamilton, NC; he leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Brenda Jackson of Plymouth, NC, his son, Melvin Bullock of Winston Salem, NC; and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 6:00pm Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home.  Private services will be held Monday, July 12, 2021.  Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
