Miss Lessie Williams, 65, departed this life on April 13, 2016. Lessie was born to Elsworth, Sr. and Catherine Williams on March 8, 1951 in W-S, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James and John Walter Williams; one sister, Shirley Guest; her daughter, Felicia Williams; her son-in-law, Wesley Eldridge; and her brother-in-law, Stephen Grooms.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving family of four children, Romunda Williams, Walter Williams, Charletta Williams-Eldridge, and Eric (Tonya) Williams; 16 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; her siblings, Melvin Williams, Nathaniel (Vera) Williams, Sr., Larry (Joyce) Williams, Sr., all of W-S, Elsworth (Helen) Williams, Jr., of Wilmington, DE, Fred Lee Williams of Richmond, VA, Marilyn Page, Peggy Grooms, and Teretha (Willie) Brown all of W-S; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Tuesday at the Chapel.
