Mr. Leon Smith departed this life on December 5, 2015. Mr. Smith was born October 18, 1949. He was a graduate of Atkins High School and was a retired employee of Duke Energy.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Brenda Smith; two sons, Leon (Renee) Smith and Fredrick (Jeneva) Brown; a devoted sister, Marlene Wilson; niece, Robyn Gray; nephew, Termaine Simmons; one sister-in-law, Junnie Wilson; two brothers-in-law, Wristen and Spencer Wilson; and a host of grandchildren, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2:00pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
